Real stories, not hype.

Social media is full of polished launches. Almost nobody shares how many prompts, rebuilds and broken versions it took, even with the latest models.

No AI tool is perfect. Builders hit usage limits, get stuck in fix loops, lose data to over-eager agents, leak API keys, and find their payments or logins broken on launch day. That's normal. It's just rarely posted.

ShipSafe collects those stories from public posts on X, Reddit, Hacker News and the open web. Each one links to its source, uses only the numbers the builder actually gave, and is summarised in our own words. We add one thing: a fix prompt you can paste into your own AI tool to check for or avoid the same problem, written especially for people building their first app.

What ShipSafe is not

ShipSafe shares community stories and general advice only. It does not scan, access, or store your apps or data. Not professional security or legal advice. We never ask for your website, repository, code or keys, and the fix prompts never ask you to paste secrets. You run them in your own tools, at your own discretion.

Community coming soon: a Discord for builders to ask for help and share honest builds. Join The Honest Build to hear when it opens.
