ShipSafe is run by MIKANAO 1519 ENK, Oslo, Norway. By using the site you agree to these terms. Please read them, especially the sections on fix prompts and liability.

1. About these terms

These terms cover your use of ShipSafe, including the stories, guides, fix prompts and newsletter, and buying sponsor placements. Questions: hello@themikanaohub.com.

2. General information only

Everything on ShipSafe is general information summarised from public sources. It is not professional security, legal, financial or engineering advice, and it doesn't create a consulting relationship. For decisions that matter, check with a qualified professional who can look at your situation.

3. Fix prompts

Fix prompts are starting points to give your own AI tool. AI tools can misread them, make mistakes or change more than you expected. You use fix prompts at your own risk. Review every change, test it, keep backups and version control, and never run AI-suggested commands against production data you can't restore.

4. No warranty

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We try to keep stories accurate and sourced, but we don't guarantee that any content is complete, current or error-free, or that following it will make your app secure.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Norwegian law, MIKANAO 1519 ENK is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from your use of the site, its content or fix prompts. This includes lost data, lost revenue, security incidents, service downtime and costs from AI tools or cloud providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for gross negligence or intent, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

6. Third-party links and sources

Stories link to their original posts and to third-party tools and sites. We don't control them, and a link isn't an endorsement. Quotes and numbers are as stated by the source.

7. Sponsored placements

Sponsored placements are always labelled "Sponsored" or "Sponsor". They're paid advertising, not endorsements or recommendations. Sponsors have no influence over stories, fix prompts or rankings.

8. Terms for sponsors

• Review: we review every sponsor and its copy for fit and accuracy before it runs. We can decline or remove a placement that is misleading, unsafe or off-topic.
• Refunds: if we decline your booking, we refund you in full. If we have to cancel a booked slot, we refund the unused part.
• No guarantee of results: we don't guarantee traffic, clicks, signups or sales, and we never claim audience numbers we don't have.
• Prices and invoices: prices are shown in USD excluding VAT. Founding prices are locked for 3 months from booking. Payment is through Stripe, which emails a receipt. We send a VAT invoice on request, for example for B2B bookings.
• Your content: you confirm you have the rights to the logo, copy and link you send, and that they're accurate and lawful.

9. Corrections and takedowns

If a story describes something you wrote and you want it corrected or removed, write to hello@themikanaohub.com. We'll sort it out promptly.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes go to the Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett), unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use the courts where you live. We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Also see our privacy policy.
